Sorry Bob, but people do act differently in different places and times:Places:-Thai-s are loath to do anything bad if anyone, even buddies in crime, can see them.-Bhutan has such a small population that a bad criminal will be known quickly, so there are VERY few bad people there.Time:1940-- Think about car-jacking... unknown in 1940 (yes, there were cars then).1700s--English army would never fight from behind trees, etc.... just not manly nor soldier-like.Point:  over time and place, people will have standards of "what they just will not do" and there are still some of thesestandards here today, if different from other days/times.  For example, a man who has done murder is, nevertheless, extremely unlikely to walk naked in daylight on main street.Charles Harpole k4vud at hotmail.com
