[SOC] [OT] Motorists slugged with fines at fake road sign

Police are preparing to repay fines imposed on Sydney motorists who 
disobeyed a fake road sign in the suburb of Beecroft.

The Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA) removed the "No Left Turn" sign, 
which had been standing at the corner of Beecroft Road and Albert Road 
in northern Sydney, when they realised it was fake.

But the authority believes people have been fined for ignoring it....
