The hospital says that I need a triple bypass (a gift from my father,
apparently, although we never met :-).
In fact, I only need one bypass, but they say that while they 'have the
bonnet (hood) open' they might as well do all three, and get it over with.

Given that there are some people on this site who are even more
'chronologically challenged' than me (and proud of it), can someone tell me
what it was like for them?.

I'm not bleating...I just want some cold, hard facts.  Forewarned is
forearmed, and all that.
