Hello Ian!...well for one, I'm very busy trying to get outside projects
finished before another winter season rears it's head again...we have
roughly 8 months of winter and 4 months of summer here...so ham radio
takes a bit of a back seat here in the good wx...
...spent last night just outside Regina with about 12 other hams and their
xyls looking through a 15 inch telescope at MARS and other systems of
stars...I rarely use this adjective but after seeing MARS, 3 meteors, 2
man-made satellites passing overhead and looking at several systems
especially M13 with over 2 million stars in that star system, the only
word I could think of that came even remotely close to the experience was
"AWESOME!"...
...we've had a number of weeks with the high temps in the middle to high
30s and suddenly we're in the middle to high 20s...must be Saskatchewan
eh!?...hihihi...
