[SMIRK] Newbie

   Hi, all.

   I'm  new  to  6M  and  am  recently  assigned  to Ft. Carson (Colorado
   Springs, CO): DM78or.

   I've  set  up  a  Ranger  RCI-5054DX-100 and have a Hamstick 6M ground
   plane  mounted  on  my  second floor patio rail (wood 2x8). (Also have
   2M/440 FM up and hope to have 40M QRP CW up in a month or so.)

   Would  someone  please  schedule with me?  I've been listening (mostly
   59.125)  but  haven't  heard  anyone.   I  know this antenna (with the
   apartment on the north of the patio, limits me, but I ought to be able
   to talk to someone who is south of my QTH, I think).

   I'm  usually  up  from  0530am MDT and leave for work around 0830. I'm
   home  most  evenings.   I  can  also  usually  get to the shack around
   lunchtime.

   Look  forward  to  becoming  part  of  the SMIRK/6M community. Anybody
   around CO Spngs go for coffee?
