Actually, you might get a bit more activity if you were to QSY to the 50mhz
list at this same QTH. I run both lists, but the SMIRK list has been very
quiet lately and I'm not sure who all is here any more. But the 50mhz list has
some activity on it almost all the time.

Yup, definitely a former resident of the Oklahoma City area, weren't you?
(GRIN) I used to live and work in Enid back in the late 70's.
Also, there is one web site that would greatly benefit you, and that is the
6m propagation web page. It's at http://www.dxworld.com/50prop.html
and there's a graphical version that I can't seem to find at the moment.
