[SMCARA] Audit Committee Volunteers

All,

I have dropped the ball on this and wouldn't have known if I hadn't been
reading the bylaws and constitution again this morning. Per the ByLaws:

Section 5
Committees:

1. Field Day Committee – Plans and coordinates the ARRL Field Day
activities.  The President will ask for volunteers to chair and comprise
the committee no later than the March meeting.
2. Audit Committee – Three-member team made up of Regular and/or Family
Members that conducts an annual audit of the Association’s financial and
property records.  The President will ask for volunteers to chair and
comprise the committee no later than the April meeting.  The Audit
Committee will present their report to the members at the July meeting,
prior to the nomination and election of new officers.

Looking at #2 I was suppose to put out a request for volunteers to audit
the financial and property records before the April meeting. Being on
Travel most of March and April I let this slip by.

Do we have volunteers who would like to perform this task? The bylaw
states we need three individuals to audit the financial records and the
property records and present a report prior to the elections. However
with short notice I might suggest an extension so that time might be had
to perform the audit and then present the finding during the August
meeting.
