According to the Constitution in order to conduct any official business,
and I believe this includes elections, we need at least 20% of the paid
membership in attendance and at least two officers. I have posted the
question to our Secretary and Treasurer to get the current membership
numbers.
Text from Constitution:
Article VI
Meetings:
The By-Laws shall provide for regular and special meetings. At all
meetings, a minimum of twenty percent (20%) of regular members and two
(2) officers shall constitute a quorum. No official business can be
transacted unless such a quorum is present.
What happens if we do not meet these requirements? I don't think we are
going to have a problem but want to be prepared.
