Bill,
We already have a D-Star repeater in the area sponsored by SPARC (Southern
Patuxent Amateur Radio Club) visit N3PX.com for more details. The gateway
is about to return because the raspberry pie configuration is about to be
reinstalled.
System Fusion:
Supports digital and analog signals at the same time but the catch is the
only way for analog and digital users can play together is if the input of
the repeater is set to auto and the output is set to analog. If both the
input and output of the repeater were to be set to auto then digital users
could talk to other digital users and analog users could talk to other
analog users but not at the same time.
I don't know enough about DMR as others so I will let them speak to DMR.
