When one looks at the archive from June so far, one will see about half the
messages (two days so far) are replies to digest messages ... without
snipping the digest ... which results in those who get the digest getting
the information again ... and again ... and again.
>From email Netiquette:
"When quoting another person, edit out whatever isn't directly applicable
to your reply. Don't let your mailing software automatically quote the
entire body of messages you are replying to when it isn't necessary. Take
the time to edit any quotations down to the minimum necessary to provide
context for your reply." http://bit.ly/1pNzwxd
Lots of the list members are busy professionals who care about what other
list members write. Otherwise, they would not stay on the list.
I have seen a spike in email unsubscriptions. I don't want to think this
is an issue causing that. I suspect it is however.
Please respect one another to focus the discussion with appropriate
subjects and editing the superfluous material.
Thanks for your attention to this request.
Lloyd
