Hello everyone!

My name is Jon and I'm a new spotter in Georgia.  Just yesterday (yep, that
new to spotting) I took the training course and earned a certificate.  Now
my question is this... Do I need to notify or register with my local
forecast office?  I heard it can vary between states and I believe the
course I took on MetEd sent my information to the main NWS office.
 Honestly I'm not sure if that info will reach my local office lol but
anyways I'd appreciate any advice/counsel y'all might have!
