[Skywarn] Weather Channel and TV

I used to respect The Weather Channel in general and several TWC
individuals, Jim Cantore one of the. It used to be an excellent source for
in-depth weather information; however, they sold out.

When TWC decided to go big media, they lost their collective mind.

As the meteorological outlet for the agenda-driven NBC liberal propaganda
machine, TWC's mission has become one of disinformation and fear. They
push, without end, the global warming farce and every other concept of how
man is destroying the planet.

Imagine for a moment TWC replaced NWS; and let there be no doubt, they want
to. That will send more chills down your spine than a polar vortex (cold
front for crying out loud) ever would.

Oh, rant mode off... I utilize NWS resources along with other online
sources including AccuWeather and the Penn State meteorological sites. As
for SKYWARN purposes, NWS information is primary with other sources used to
broaden the picture.

As for the current situation with Direct TV - almost makes me want to get
their system just so I could get rid of TWC. Unfortunately, the pollution
that is TWC is feeding down to the local TV and other media outlet levels.
The far-left liberal agenda is just like a virus - spread by contact.
Hopefully more folks will wash their hands and the epidemic can stop before
it does destroy us.

Jim Cantore, on CNN, stated "... Your first hint of what's to come is from
the Weather Channel,,," http://cnn.it/1fQFE70 referring to the National
Weather Service and emergency managers.

As a Skywarn enthusiast, does this hold true?

Where do you get your first look weather information?
