[Skywarn] Amateur Storm Chasers Cause Congestion in Severe Weather [feedly]

Me as well. It is why I am also involved in the city CERT and the
county SAR group. It is through this SAR group that I have followed
three cases of people watching TV shows and thinking they can survive in
the wilderness. One young man after watching Into the Wild is still
missing and it is going on three months. That is not going to turn out
well if the family ever does get closure. All the shows give warnings
that most people never read or consider will ever happen to them.

I'm not suggesting that these shows are bad but I do wish that people
had better critical thinking skills so they would understand that it can
happen to them and watching a TV show does not give you those skills.
You have to practice them as they are never as easy as a pro makes them
look.
