[Skywarn] 2013 severe weather season

I was wanting some opinions regarding whether or not anyone thought this severe weather season is going to be quiet or just late getting started. Being from MS I am primarily curious about this part of the country. April is our prime month and it came and went with a whimper. The 18th was our only "big" day of the season and when I caught a brief tornado over in Arkansas. I am wondering if winter refusing to leave has delayed the real onset ( it was 34 the other morning here-unheard of)  or if we just missed it here in the south. I finally become a certified spotter and we get weather tranquil enough to make you think you live in San Diego.
