[Skywarn] Weather Station question

the APRS version is just the serial version with another adapter for DB-25
connections on TNCs. The CWOP system, I think, just retransmits your
submitted data to the APRS reporting system via the internet. IMO it is
better to submit your data to NOAA/NWS so they can use your data... which
is then made available to weather underground. I'm just working on setting
this up my self (got the APRS weatherlink kit for xmas). I don't know if
it's possible to submit data to more than one service but I'm not sure it
would be a good idea... don't want your data counted more than once by
NOAA/NWS
