I do have to laugh at the terminology, though.  If I
run 1.5KW to stacked 13 elements on 2 meters, I am
"weak signal".  If I run an Icom 2AT on low power with
its rubber duck antenna, I am not "weak signal".  

I think we need a new term for SSB/CW, as weak signal
might scare off alot of new amps.  Why would I want to
spend several hundred for an all mode rig, and a
hundred more for a yagi-to do something with "weak
signals"?
