I use a 1/2 wave dipole for six meter SSB from PAR. It's 9 1/2 feet =
long, insulated and end fed. Rated for 200W. Mine has been at 35+feet =
for about 8 months now and I've had fantastic results compared =
simultaneously with my 3 element yagi. It's a lot more omnidirectional =
than the beam and is also extremely efficient. The distances of ground =
wave contacts have been up to par with the yagi as well. Par makes them =
for 6-20 meters one for each band. I think they would make a great last =
resort antenna solution for any band especially when horizontal
