Actually the best way is to make a single point ground path...have all
equipment tie to a common bus inside (bar or #8 or larger wire or even a
flat 4inch strap would work)....then have ONE (!) wire out of the house
to Earth ground...you can put multiple grounds once outside to
help...this way all equipment rises and falls at the same potential in
the event of a lightning surge, strike, etc and this minimizes any
damage (may not stop it 100%)...
DONOT run multiple grounds from inside to outside...this can increase
your damage potential...if you can use the electrical ground rod outside
as your main ground point, do it! and tie the Sat dish rod into the same
ground rod as all other equipment but try to have only ONE ground lead
from inside to out...I have done that in many telecom sites...and the
results are great!
