Dennis,
You would be better to run all of your rigs to a common ground point to
eliminate any ground loops.
Learned this one the hard way with a few short RF burns way back in the
beginning of my amateur career.

Subject: [SixClub] rig grounding

hey guys
i have an Icom 756Pro and an Icom 910H i have the Pro with a short wire
running to a 4 foot ground rod which is connected to an 8 footer about
10 feet away which is also connected to a 2 1/4in diam pipe that was
drone into the ground by a DSS installer so i dont know how deep it goes
but my question is
can i run a short ground wire from the 910H to the Pro which is grounded
or should it be run directly to the grounding rod its self?
and is the above ground acceptable ?
thanks
