Bruce,
I have heard some wideband FM on 6 meters, around 50.220. Turns out it
was the audio sub-carrier of a leaky cable TV channel. If your 6M rig
supports it, try switching to FM on those signals.
Good luck in the magic band!
73,
Ricardo W3/HK4BHA

I am in "6 mtr novice training mode" which means I'm trying to create
new habits that result in my mainly listening to 6 mtrs while hoping to
hear some signals...I'm certainly hearing a number of weird 'noises'
while I'm doing this...now you hear it, now you don't type sounds...one
of them brings to mind that I'm hearing very distorted broadcast
signals?...sort of distorted modulation which is short and seems to
follow voice patterns...so my question for you 6 mtr gurus...is this
what I'm hearing?...73 Bruce.

72/73 - Bruce ve5rc/ve5qrp - I believe in the KIS principle.
