Hello Steve - most of the time I sit on 50.125 and monitor...this sound
comes in & out, sometimes it's quite strong, other times not so strong,
at times it's like it's moving through 50.125 as if it's moving down the
band...once in a while I scan from 50.0 to 50.2...I use an FT-817 to a
Cushcraft 4 element beam horizontal at 55 feet...I haven't rotated but I
can do that...I will also switch to FM next time...tnx 73 Bruce.
