Try the homebrew buddipole.It doesn't take up much room in your suitcase,
plus you can take some string and tie it to the ship railing since its made
out of lightweight PVC.I did that up in Alaska last year and was able to
operate all night from the top deck.

   I just purchased the AH -510 I think its a Daimond  from HRO and seems to

do ok on some 6 m repeaters but havent been able to raise the sixshooters 
repeater.
