Ahhh using old boat anchors? Ok....that does make a little 
difference...the output stages can be tuned to match the 75 ohm of RG6 
and compared to RG-58, RG-6 has less loss (75ohm line always has less 
loss than 50ohm line IF ALL other parameters - size, SWR, etc.- are the 
same)...but not compared to larger coaxes like RG-8, -11 or 9913 or 
anything else!..

If you were using a fixed 50ohm output solid state rig, then going with 
50ohm line would be your better bet. (but for now, cannot beat FREE :)
