[SignalOne] Speaker Wires

Hello!

I'm trying to identify the wire to output to the speaker from an audio
amp. Originally, the audio comes out of the secondary of T2, goes to
the front panel headphone socket, thence to the speaker RCA socket on
the
back panel.

The wire of interest is the one that goes OUT to the headphone jack.
It is NOT listed in the wire list.
Just in the radio schematic "J1-1 to T2-4".

There is an illustration in the manual showing all the wires to T1 the
power transformer, but nothing
for T2.

It looks like all the wires from T2 come through a grommet at the
outer corner under the power supply,
next to the EXT KEY socket. They are different colors; wonder if
they're resistor-color-coded? In that
case, #4, the speaker audio output wire, would be yellow. And indeed,
there is an orange wire coming out
of the grommet that connects to the ground lug of J13.

So I'm going to guess that the wire going out to the headphone jack is
the yellow one, and that there's a soldered splice somewhere in the
wiring harness. And THAT's why it doesn't appear in the wiring list,
which isn't really set up for wires that are one color at this end, and
another color at that end.

I'm going to snip that wire in such a place that I can connect to both
of its ends; one to the headphone jack then speaker connector, and the
other back to the transformer. That lead back to the transformer could
be
important to get antivox. So then we would call the secondary a
"primary" - the transformer doesn't care. I would stick in a series
resistor so that the transformer wouldn't affect the frequency response
of the new amplifier.
