An email from the offices of the "Central Overland California and Pikes Peak
Express Company", signed by Russell, Majors and Waddell, states:

"The horse and rider, complete with mochila, crosses into Nevada tomorrow
during the afternoon.  The expected arrival at Woodfords is 1600 hrs and at
Genoa at 1830 hrs.  Because the first riders each tripped over Bison on
their way through California, the remaining horse and rider arriving at
Genoa need R&R and will remain there overnight - a first for the always
moving Pony Express.  12 hours rest and then on to Carson City Wednesday,
arriving at 0830.  You are invited and encouraged to follow the ponies, by
accessing the SIERA hotline at 782-6949.

The SIERA 2m net will also have updates.  That's at 1930 hours on Tuesday.
Will (KD7NIR), the PIO and GM for Russell, Majors and Waddell, will have any
updates necessary for all participants and viewers.

You won't want to miss the net, or the following HF net at 2000 hours.

The Watering Hole, on Wednesday at 1930 hours, will have much interesting
information as well.

Saturday at some 1600 hours the pony and rider arrive at Ibapah and the many
SIERA members will return to the corporate offices to put their feet up on
the desk and read the local paper.

All in all, another great week for SIERA and its members.
