“Save the date – Thursday, June 17, 2010, 6:00 p.m. – for the annual after the pony Express Reride Potluck to be held at Lampe Park.  Members, family, are friends are all invited.  Participation in the Reride is not a requirement.  This year the pony people are celebrating the 150th year of ride.

“The club will provide plates, cups, plastic utensils, and napkins. We will make a pot of coffee.  If you want other beverages , please bring what you prefer.  Just remember that glass bottles are not allowed in the park. Please bring two of the following four items:  an appetizer, salad, hot dish, or dessert.  The pony people are planning to bring a BIG cake, but other dessert items are also popular.  

 “Who knows what the weather will be.  Lampe Park can be cool if there is a breeze, so it is a good idea to have a jacket even if you opt to leave it in the car.

 “This is always a fun event with lots of good food and fellowship..  Plan to bring your two favorite potluck dishes, a good appetite, and your stories of the Reride to share.
