High Wind Warning
1000 PM PST Mon Dec 6 2004

...Wind Advisory has been upgraded to a High Wind Warning until 6 am
PST Tuesday...

Strong south to southwest winds continue to increase ahead of a
strong winter storm. Winds between 25 and 45 mph with gusts up to 60
mph have been reported and are expected to continue through 6 am
Tuesday morning. Local higher gusts up to 70 mph have also been
reported in the caughlin ranch area and will be possible tonight and
overnight mainly in the foothills and wide open areas. Rain and snow
is also expected to develop overnight at which time winds will
diminish to 10 to 20 mph with local gusts up to 30 mph in rain and
snow.

Motorists should exercise caution while driving tonight and Tuesday
and be prepared for strong cross winds on U.S. Highway 395 and
Interstate 80.
