...Snow Advisory in effect above 5000 feet from midnight Tuesday to
noon PST Tuesday...

The National Weather Service in Reno NV has issued a Snow Advisory.

Snow...mixed with rain on the valley floors...will begin shortly
after midnight in the Reno area. Occasional snow will continue
through the morning rush hour with accumulations of 2 to 4 inches
above 5000 feet by noon Tuesday. The greatest accumulations are
expected in the Sierra foothills with light accumulations of up to
one inch below 5000 feet. Overnight winds are expected to diminish
to 10 to 20 mph with locally higher gusts shortly after the
precipitation begins with little blowing snow expected.
