Hi Keith, Pete,
As we keep learning over and over, license exams and technical learning
do not guarantee gentlemanly behavior on the air, whatever the jargon.

You may wish to know that You are an FCC licensed CBer. So am I, and so is every
resident of the USA.  When the FCC did away with the nuisance of licensing
individuals, they issued one license by rule under 47 CFR Part 95-D for the whole
USA, as required by international agreements, and they retained the authority
to revoke operating privileges of specific individuals for cause.
I say let's be kind to CBers, because they are we!

In some countries (for example New Zealand) the 11 m band channels are
shared among licensed radio amateurs and their citizens radio service.
