I was shocked and elated today when I heard a WJNO radio commercial aimed at
recruiting Ham Radio Operators!

It was aimed at the public and touted how Hams were the first lines of
Communication after 9/11 and the Hurricanes that hit Florida last year.

It ended with a call to everyone who wants to learn more about Ham Radio and
how to become a Ham by contacting the ARRL and an 800 number. I was so
surprised that I did not write the number down but it was the Leagues
number...

Bravo...!
