David do they teach in Class about the Indiana Scanner Law and the 
Exemptions for it. I graduated from CPD Academy many years ago it was not a 
issue  because of No Law in Il , But I know a lot of Indiana Law 
Enforcement Officers in N/W Indiana  know the Law but not anything about 
anyone except one of their own  who are  Exempt.  I Have gave some  a copy 
of the Indiana Scanner Law Sorry for the Off topic post.
