I travel a lot and I don't have the time to sit around a table and monitor
when I head into a new system... I'd like to be able to simply pre-program
the radio for talkgroups of interest so I can lock out others, so when given
the opportunity I'd prefer to have that stuff 'handed to me.' Here in
Michigan there are roughly 700 talkgroups, of which around 150 have been
identified by myself and a handful of others. When I go up north it's going
to take a good deal of wasted time for me to figure out the ones in my area
of interest -- time I'd much rather spend just listening ;>
