Hello All, I've been lurking on the list for while now - but I have the
following two questions:

1) In Bloomington on 461.8750 (a frequency listed as belonging to
Bloomington Hospital) I occasionally hear what seems to be a telephone
conversation between "Hospital Maintenance" and whomever is calling.
The usual conversations consist of a couple of quick beeps then someone
saying "Hospital Maintenance this is... (it usually seems to be someone
named steve)" followed by what seems to sound like a telephone
conversation between the other caller and the Maintenance guy - it
usually seems to concern some sort of (shock) maintenace thing (ie,
light bulb replaced, a/c isn't working... etc) then a couple more quick
beeps before the carrier drops. My best guess is that it's some sort
of radio patch for the maintenance people so they can get their
telephone calls anywhere in the hospital - but this seems a little far
fetched. Anyone have any info on this, or encountered it somewhere else?

2) When I'm listening to Bloomington Police Department dispatch on
460.3250 I occasionally hear officers ask dispatch for "Rolidex" on
different peoples names, the results either come back 'negative' or with
a persons telephone number, and sometimes other info. I'm curious if
this is simply a fancy term for looking someone up in the phone book, or
possibly some other police only database? Anyone got any info?

If anyone has any info, it'd be greatly apprecatied! Thanks!!

-neil
