[ScanIndiana] Scanner Listners are Thugs

basically the crux of this is the person writing the story. He or she may
not know about the use of scanners as a hobby (even worse, may consider it
mildly perverse form of voyeurism). Reporters aren't on top of everything
y'know?
Which is one of the reasons I'm getting into scanning. I've worked in the
newspaper business for a bit and its pretty much shaken my faith in
Journalistic intergrity.

case in point:

Down the street from where I live in kokomo (near highland park) the cops
(local police, sherrif and another unit I didn't recognize) had the whole
block sealed off and performing what looked like some sort of search
operation. The Kokomo Tribune nor the Perspective mentioned a thing about it
the next day or the day after that (to the best of my knowledge).
