Man are  you kidding its alive in here,  all ya gotta do is toss out the
right question and you'll get all kinds of crack pot answers and also some
serious ones too. No Wes,  I'm the Sr. scanning idiot and they have always
been easy on me.

now that I know this list is alive, got a few questions for ye venerated
scanning sages...

Is the Icom IC-PCR1000 worth purchasing or should I just get a regular
scanner? I want something that I can tune in onevarious frequnecies about
the the cities I'm in (I make a circuit of Kokomo, Lafayette, and
Bloomington) and occasionally record them...Would this, in your opinions, be
the best purchase for me?

Now, I'm a scanning idiot so, go easy on me..
