Hello Wes. I really do not know any thing about
the scanner in question. But here in Kokomo the
BC245 is what I use. Kokomo/Howard county is
using the EDACS system. You will need a like
scanner or the new BearCat scanner that will scan
and work for the various police systems out
there. Do not ever be afraid of claiming to be a
scanner nut. I was ridiculed at work a lot for
being a "scanner nut". But when the storms came
rumbling through, or something serious was going
down in the city/county guess who the name
callers were coming to see on their breaks? Why
the scanner nut of course. Buy the way we had a
tornado tear through Howard County and hit the
GreenTown Indiana area quite hard several years
ago. But thanks to State Police, County Police,
and Ham Radio Operators people (and broadcast
radio stations) with scanners had enough warning
to take cover. No deaths!! Keep on scanning with
