now that I know this list is alive, got a few questions for ye venerated
scanning sages...

Is the Icom IC-PCR1000 worth purchasing or should I just get a regular
scanner? I want something that I can tune in onevarious frequnecies about
the the cities I'm in (I make a circuit of Kokomo, Lafayette, and
Bloomington) and occasionally record them...Would this, in your opinions, be
the best purchase for me?

Now, I'm a scanning idiot so, go easy on me..
