The GRE cable comes with a stereo to mono adapter and works with
the PRO-96/2096 and the PRO-84 with the adapter, and the rest of the
GRE/RS/Whistler scanners without it.

In the MDC area, about everyone is P25, Phase 1 or 2, and too many have 
gone E.
