Can any of you guys weigh in on Henry's question regarding the proposed
helipad for Biden in the Cape Henlopen State Park and the helicopter usage?

Thanks,
Alan

This all but confirms that Biden will be flying into Rehoboth by Marine One
through Cape Henlopen State Park.

I wonder if he will be flying on Marine One direct from the White House or
if he will be flying by AF1 to GED, then switching to M1 to Gordon's Pond.
When you said he flew as VP by AF2 into GED, were you referring to when he
would be coming from Washington, or would he fly from Wilmington? I think
he used to fly AF2 to New Castle Airport when he was VP.

If he is flying by Marine One direct from the White House, then I would
expect that the press pool would accompany on an osprey, presumably also
landing at Gordon's Pond. That would be interesting because then the
Presidential package landing at the state park would be at minimum 2x
VH-3Ds and 2x MV-22Bs.

If he were to be flying AF1 to GED, then M1 to Gordon's Pond, then the
press pool could see him get on Marine One, but then not accompany him.
They would presumably be driven to their local hotel. This would limit the
helicopter package of the 2 ospreys. A similar thing happens for Trump in
Bedminster. Trump flies with the press on AF1 to the local airport, then he
gets on Marine One w/o press (and thus w/o ospreys) and flies to
Bedminster. Press is driven to a local hotel from the airport.

Also, I live part-time on Brooklyn Ave near Biden's local church, St.
Edmond. I am very excited about what this new administration means for
Rehoboth!!

Thanks much and a belated Happy New Year,
Henry Bright
