[Scan-DC] Is Anyone even using CB anymore?

The reason I ask is I would like to start a Scan-DC discussion group via
CB. That way everyone who is not a HAM can participate. GMRS has more range
and there are repeaters in the are but I am sure nobody want to spend the
50.00 for a GMRS licence just to chat Scanning.

Still it would be a fun idea if it ever got off the ground and could be an
informal net for us. Any takers out there? I also understand the bands are
crap and have been on HF but at those frequencies even a 10 miles round
trip could be good coverage under Summer conditions perhaps.

Any takers?
