Apologies if this has been addressed before -
Does anybody have an up-to-date listing of what the various unit
identifiers mean with Montgomery County Police? For example, I'm hearing
activity from a 9-Baker unit right now on 3rd District air. I previously
used a chart at the following link -
http://www.ericcarlson.net/scanner/police.html
However, many of those protocols and identifiers seem to be outdated at
this point. I know that the shift-9 units are units from special sections -
just now which sections they go to. If there's a comprehensive chart that
would be much appreciated! I'm already familiar with the general beat car
ID nomenclature. I also had questions about the 3 digit units like "353."
I'm assuming the second number being 5 means traffic units but not sure
about the others.
Thanks in advance!
