[Scan-DC] Good, strong, analog signals in Arlington area?

What about helicopter ops out of Anacostia? From my rooftop monitoring bunker near Judiciary Square, I often Marine helicopters making practice flights.

Thanks for reminding me about the transmitter in Arlington. It's up above the Arlington County sewage treatment plant and Metrobus garage at South Glebe Road and Route 1. You can easily see it from Yellow and Blue Line trains between National Airport and Four Mile Run.

I agree that the DCA Helo freq of 134.35 MHz  is worth 
checking.  That will get you the military and med evac flights.

Some of the DCA stuff is transmitted from an installation in a residential area in Arlington, a hilltop site which would be overlooking DCA had not someone built Crystal City in the way of it.
