[Scan-DC] Wind shear makes interesting Nationalairport towerlistening

Airports have wind shear detection systems usually located a short distance
off the end of runways. I believe they were installed for the most part
following crashes in Dallas and Denver. The data use to be transmitted on
VHF frequencies (I haven't listened for the data lately).

Yeah, maybe it was about equipping planes rather than airports with wind
shear detection
