If you guys want to take a look at some serious tech gear put on  
flatbeds and in trailers, check out this blog post today on Engadget

They managed to get invited to a disaster drill in which AT&T brings  
in basically a 'mobile CO' and re-establishes services, complete with  
satellite uplinks, generators, and their own 'in-house' hazmat crew.   
Lots of toys.

Pretty neat.
