I've seen this reported numerous times on the RR forums; do you have Close Call turned on?

Subject: [Scan-DC] Scanner Troubleshooting Question
Date: Wed, 25 Apr 2007 07:08:33 -0400
Okay, I give up!! A few months ago, I got a Uniden 396T. I love it--with one expection. As I'm listening to my scanner, the signal drops during the transmission. It even occurs while the scanner is on "HOLD". The only thing I can see is that the signal quality bars disappear. I have turned off (I think) the batttery save function, and I don't have any priority channels (that I know of). Could it be the weather alert feature?
It happens too reguarlly with each tranmission. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for any guidance you can give me!
David
