[Scan-DC] Arlington & PG County

I have seen a number of recent notes about Arlington and PG.  I have 
met with both of these customers and they told me the following:

1).  Arlington is putting in a true P25 9600 baud system.  They are suppose 
      to be in test now.  Because of interoperability problems with neighbors they
      plan to run a few channel of the old system until the other get new radios. 

2.)  At the region 20 meeting ealier this year PG announced that they were going 
      to put a 700 Moto P25 system in.  While there is no FCC approved 700 MHz plan,
      PG had written one and put it out for comment.  They correctly stated that 
      there were no 800 channels left.  I assume the press release was incorrect about 
      800 and should have been 700 MHz unless they changed their minds and think they 
      can get about 20 channels out of the rebanding.
