Informationwise, that's the way they usually operate on something like this 
- ie, if the MSP "chooper" is called in by the local jurisdiction, the helo 
will operate on whatever channel/frequency/talkgroup the local operation is 
on.

What I _haven't_ figured out is, on the 800-MHz systems, exactly what the 
copters' capabilities are.  Usually on a Montgomery County Fire/EMS 
incident, Fire Communications will patch them in on VHF.  Not sure what the 
police side does.  But then at other times, the helos seem to have 800-MHz 
capability.
