The Department of Natural Resources will hold a Public Informational
Meeting on Friday, August 4, 2006 to discuss the a proposed State
Public Service Communications Tower near Benedict. That 330-ft
freestanding tower would be constructed at the edge of an agricultural
field south of Route 231, within the Indian Creek Natural Resources
Management Area. The Meeting will be held at the Benedict Volunteer
Fire Department, 18210 Hyatt Ave, Benedict, MD 20612, starting at 7PM.
