[Scan-DC] Statistics

I have complained to the FCC for years about not being able to search
the ULS database because the software does not support independent
cities searching. Many Virginia licensees are shown incorrectly
because the application process required a county be listed and often
the applying city would enter the adjacent county. An FCC tech rep
told me they couldn't program that feature and that I would have to
enter a latitude and longitude search, blah, blah.. I knew that was a
"please go away" answer. Amazingly now the FCC database search engine
supports an independent city search, at least for Virginia . I think
that resulted only because of the Va. independent cities located in NOVA.

It should be noted that not ALL cities in Virginia are independent
cities. Many are part of a county. There are approximately 35
independent cities in state.
