No. A sonic boom is sharper, and there are two wavefronts. They go "CRACK
- CRACK." Sorry for the shouting.... I am four miles south of the
Pentagon, and I **vividly** recall hearing the fighters arrive soon after
Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon.
